Both looks the same in specs except Arc's scratch resistant screen with bravia engine. If desire hd get Android 2.3 update soon, which one must I choose? Sorry for being noob, I am new to the android world. * +

Forgt to mention Galaxy S-2, Xperia Play and Neo.. Specwise S-2 rules but is samsung a better choice than sony and htc? * +

GalaxyS-2 definetly, Samsung are indeed a better choice if you're looking at the GalaxyS2. * +

dhd has a very poor battery but is gettin 2.3 next month, arc has a great screen and camera, galaxy s2 will be king... if u can wait and afford it * +

DHD is a good phone, but as Schlim has mentioned, it has a cr*p battery life. If money is no object, then go for the Galaxy S 2. * +

Wouldn't bother with SE (sorry Polo Lol), they'll probably drop support for the Arc within a year Lol. * +

Lol, its all gud, SE's issues with X10series and X8 was mainly that their UI was written into the OS, so Timescape and Mediascape and their other mods were part of the OS in their phones, that made it difficult and time consuming to update them as they all would have to be rewritten for each OS update, that changed in Arc and newer SE Androids, their UI is now just preinstalled .apks * +

Thats why it was possible to extract the Arc's launcher and apps, so when OS updates come they just install their UI as you would an apk and flash in the theme, if im not mistaken rumour has it the Arc maybe the 1st (after the Nexus devices) to get 2.4, we may just see a full turnaround frm SE this year thanks to that. * +
