The release of the iPhone on Verizon seems to have hardly done anything to Androids growth in the network nor in the US as a whole: http://is.gd/Seenmt seems people are realy choosing what they realy want

In a year when the iPhone 5 is slated for release, of course people are going to flock the iPhone 4 on Verizon

People are buying android as it's a cheap alternative to iPhone. Android will be huge yes but iPhone Is more desirable and the main people that hate iPhone just simply can't afford it * +

iPhones are now cheaper in south Africa. if I wanted an iPhone I would've bought one, but I chose android coz it's better * +

Galaxy-S, Desire/HD, Thunderbolt, Evo ,MyTouch4G etc... these in many networks around the globe are just as expensive if not more than iPhone yet they outsell it, Galaxy-S reached 10million units sold in a matter of months, LG Optimus Black has had over 2million preorders just a few days after announcement etc...sorry, your excuse doesnt hold here. * +
