Samsung have better displays than htc cos they use super amoled but build quality is rarely as good as htc. Upload and download speeds a bit faster on htc but battery life not allways as good as samsung as a result. Htc is a premuim manufacturer of business phones. Samsung is a better entertainment device for the ordinary consumer. Personally I would go for samsung. * +

The new samsung galaxy s11 will have the best display on the market. Amoled provides deep contrasts and richer colours which look great especially on videos. * +

Some htc handsets like the android htc desire hd are alluminium or steel, but to be honest most phones are plastic *
