I am waiting for SGS2 to release within 10days. I have shortlisted above phones with sention having 2nd preference and dhd 3rd. Which one of this is locked that i can omit? * +

Even if your bootloader is locked you can install custom roms. Motorola defy and milestone bootloaders are locked but still they've plenty of roms. It's not a problem untill you're using an android based os rom. * +

Problem comes when you want to install other os like symbian, windows phone 7 or anything else. Then you can't do it. And i don't think you'll use any of this os. * +

Sensation and Defy have locked bootloaders. Issue with locked bootloaders is you wont be able to get custom kernels which allow undervolting and further effeciency optimizing, also it means certain parts of ROMs may take longer to make e.g. Camera and GSM antenna, thats why some Defy ROMs are incomplete. * +
