personally I find it hard to believe that processors below 1gh dont run some apps properly. are some android apps really that sophisticated that they require a 1gh cpu? tell me if iam wrong cos I admitt I know very little about the android platform. it just sounds like a marketing ploy to me to encourage people to think they need to lash out on the latest gear in order to run the best apps. * +

the LG android phone on 02 pay as you talk has a 600mhz processor and I havnt heard of any app issues with this device. * +
