Got a r32 skyline, prob is when i boost it, it makes like a slight rattle sound when it hits around 4k 5k rpm, spoke to a few people they reckon it could be that the timing is out? But it dont always make the sound. Could it be that it is leaning out koz i haven changed the fuel filter in a while and the injectors could be slightly blocked. Any help would be appreciated thanks guys * +

If its a vibration of the engine when it hits 4-5k rpms then u wud have check your engine mounts to see if they damaged. * +

Timing in rb20 is self adjusting could b dodgy coil pack there all seperate an on the lead they hav a habbit ov failing unda load * +

Its hard to tell where it coming from in the engine bay koz car so noisy. Yer i use bp ultimate an run octane booster in every 2nd tank so it cant be the fuel. I will try replacing plugs an coil packs this week hopefully its something simple and not like the bearings in the turbo or somethin ha ha * +

Take it to j*p specialist first.. They will tell u exactly what it is. Leads for rb20 r expencive n no point replacen bits that dnt need to b. I would suggest brescaini racing in campbellfeild danny brescani is a magican wen it comes to anythin 4sfed * +
