Hi my vauxhall corsa 1.4 96 model its ran gr8 all year prob cos i drive it everyday but i didnt start it 4 3 days last wk now it wnt start. The motor turns and i tried 2 jump start it 2day but nothing. Fink i mite nd new battery acid is low and interior lights r very dim. Any help wud b much appreciated thanx. * +

sounds like battery to me, if it's getting dodgy, a cold spell will finish it off. * +

Thanks campa appreciate it iv heard aspirine cn give it one lst kick or even topin it up with distiled water jus nd sumat 2 get it going as im trien 2 sell it so if u have any tips wud appreciate it. * +

Get another battery from car scr*pyard its a lot cheaper than a new one * +

never heard the aspirin one before. Try topping up with distilled water and hook it up to a battery charger. Disconnect the battery first tho. May give it a bit more life but once a battery dies, it often won't hold any charge. * +

Thinkin of scr*ppy m8. Jus hope it is batery as i said the acid is down 2 like an inch deep inside so i asume it is that though i thot jump starting it wudav got it going again. * +

Thanks again campa fink il jus *it up a scr*pyard. My starter motor was bit dodgy 2 but wen u whackd it with a hammer it was fine lol fink the spring inside was jamming. Dn fink that has nowt 2 do wif it tho as it still makes a click wen u try start it up, jus sounds like battery isnt kickin in and wiv my interior lights bein very dim that points 2 battery 2. * +
