Na, that won't do anything, that just regulates air temp /combustion in cylinder and running , u need to clean sensor which regulates air flow - air flow meter, this checks air flow into engine, if reccomend getting a friend in AA n call them n say were passenger :) * +

Thanx for your help il try those suggestions.its fuel injection 2ltr so can you adjust the tickover fuel mix or does the ecu do that via the lambda sensor do that? * +

My bad, don't know where brain went!! Same thing, air sensor regulates fuel mixtures , clean if dirty but if not working replace * +

Sadly all u can do is set idle speed, garage can tune it properly, but in mean time, ur ecu will do it, but if faulty sensors, it's getting false readings and adjusting to these:( * +
