check the fuse. How many and how big. a amp waste half of its power just 4 heat. You need to work out the rms value of it roughly to get the true power of it. * +

Problem wen i 1st got it,it pounded!my amp is under da back seat of my suv.n nw it doesnt pound as much.i do fl da amp from time to time,n it gets realy hot.cnt mount da amp at da bk of da seat coz the seats mve forward n bk,datl mess up my wires * +

most big amps have big heat sinks. a amp will waste half the power just for heat. mount your amp on a board at the back. it needs ventilation under the seat its not getting any. to see measure the rms roughly multiply the size of the fuse by 6 thats where you will get a rms value per channel rougly. NEVER BUY ON THE cr*p PRINTED ON THE BOX OR ON ITS ADVERTISED RATIO'S *
