The other day i drove my vw jetta 85 model at high speed in warm weather when suddenly oil was coming out of my air filter.i replaced the oil filter and now the problem seems to be gone.can it be sump compression? * +

if its the same prob that skommelie have does it mean that it is not the sump compression and that i only have to replace splashplate.cant i just ignore it because it dont leak oil anymore after i replaced the air filter * +

Thats a blocked crankcase breather pipe.. Did it on my old xr2i.. At high rpm it wud spit oil out back in to the airbox.. And wen the presure got to much wud spit the dipstick out.. The pipe gets cloged up with sludge! * +

Dip stick pop out?,sludge,need to engine flush that thing out.use wyn's purple bottle,other ones are cheap made wit parifin n wear out the rings * +
