Only music I play in my cars, comes from the tail pipes and under the hood, but I'd say, wat is the output in watts x2/4 of your head unit, as I'm guessing it's no where near 800 of ur woofer, so I'd make an educated guess and say- yup, u need an amp, to increase power output to woofer:) * +

It will take 4ever 2 talk u thru fittin a system with 2 much chance of u makin an error in translation, u'd be better askin some1 face 2 face 2 show u the ropes... But 2 answer ur question, ur crossover basically divides the sound comin from ur head unit an sends it 2 the appropriate speakers... Does ur amp not hav a built in cross over ? * +

How much would it cost to have competition sound fitted by professionals to a large vehicle. Let's say a Vito. And let's say about 9 12 inch subs and a large monoblock amp. The layout must look beautiful, be LOUD and totally balanced. Everything must be Rockford fosgate. How much do you reckon the whole thing will cost? * +
