Hmmm air flow meter, maybe tired out, possible hole /s after the meter/throttle body, as will be allowing air in after sensors , plus quick check of coils/ht leads n sparks for shorting * +

not sorted this problem out yet but seems to be dying most times when i break now or coming to a stop,could it be a hole in 1 of my pipes or does anyone else have any ideas please * +

its not coil pack,plugs etc there all fine * +

DONT clean the throttle body especially around the throttle plates down to the metal, its usually coated with a rubber type material to seal the throttle plates. try unplugging the air control valve. it should cause revs to increase if dont the air control valve is faulty. could also be a vacuum leak or leak on inlet manifold. your car should idle at 950rpm +/- 50 with air con on. *
