Thinken bout ur prob its clear u had a sump compression problem. D most significant diffrence between d two cyl heads is d volume size of d combustion chamber. D 1.8 bottom ends rings shudve been gud to seal fo up to a certain compresion ratio bt then d 1.4 cyl head raised it too high i guess. So sum engine compresion gets chased past d rings. * +

you get the same effect with a 1200gx head on a 1400 motor, looks alike, alot higher cr with the gx head *
