Hi, am getting a golf 3 gti soon, it's the 8v. Gonna turbo-charge it without opening the motor, What do I have to do? Tx in advance * +

Open the 'motor' and lower the compression or putting a turbo on may damage the engine. * +

Keep d boost low.. D 2.0 8v motor is quite a donkey, u wudnt break it that easy. * +

yeah it is lol. gonna use a t3/t4 hybrid setup. gonna run it at 0.5 bar boost. but won't do it straight away. need to sort out fueling first. * +

Arnt they d same size? A slightly bigger injector shud do or a chip to manipulate d engine coolant temp signal to d ecu. It just needs to widen d pulse a bit. * +

Not easy to do in depth ecu tuning on this engine, i have one. Better to do usual tuning on this, exhaust, filter and a chip. I got around 130 bhp doing it.x * +
