Hey ppz. Wana do oil change in my 98 corsa only dne 55 k so wana give it a treat lmao. Anyway had my waterpump done as it was running at 100 now it sits at 96 to 98 which still seems high but acording to corsa forum is ok n normal:/ so wana change to a fully synthetic oil mainly as they perform so well against high temprature engines. Anyone got advice. As been reading up bout it n seem really gd * +

So has the new water pump cured ur expansion tank problem ? Did u fit a new timing belt ? I doubt u'll see much benefit from usin fully synthetic but if u think it will give u peace of mind then splash out an treat urself... * +

My moto when buyin consummables 4 my car ie oil, filters, Tyres, wiper blades, bulbs etc is buy the best u can afford... Most after market motor factor parts will do the job ok, sum folk r just a bit snobby and insist on payin thru the nose 4 dealer parts... Spend more time in the corsa forum than u do in here and u'll learn more about ur car... * +

Yeah waterpump has sortd it:) still is quite high temp but according to other ppl that have corsas its quite normal 4 the fan to kick in at 100 and as far as i knw its only a/c models that have 2 fan speed settins. So im just goina get synthetic an hope 4 best lol. * +
