Im on summer tyres in the snow,and am fine,its no problem. But people around me are crashing and sliding down hills,other motorists are holding me up - even some 4x4s and yet mine is only fwd. On snow,getting some skills will do you far better than different tyres. * +

Not sure if its skill or just luck tho! My seat ibiza with low profiles is ace even on the ice, but blood vectra is an and will not behave at all! *
