How about looking back a generation. Late Rx7 is a beautiful car with more power then the 8. Late Supra? Should be reasonable prices and as long as they haven't been abused should be solid still. * +

if you want a sports car get a REAR WHEEL DRIVE and the 350Z is just that....and you can tweak it to unlimited potential...and its an affordable car...or you can go for the 370Z * +

S2000 is still out of reach d*mn those things hold value well...good if you have one s*cks if you dont 
it is still my dream car though...looks like 04 350Z it is then...S2000 is a bit faster though but you have to drive it hard all the time...RX7 was never officially imported to SA...saw a series 5 RX7 import selling for ZAR135000 but no finance... * +

In a straight line stock for stock the z takes the s2000 , but where the s2000 domainates is the corners. Pitty a amuse kit is so expensive then you could've made an s2000 into a touge monster, the z is a good car seeing as i have one but n/a is ok for a while on a few mods reponse well to it. bt if you go f/i than you got a real beast their mate. Where in rsa or u situated but the way check the clutch before you buy a oem clutch n flywheel kit very expensive *
