air is leaking from tube linking from ur air filter to ur throttle body so ur air flow sensor then causing ur engine to cut off. * +

that is the anser to your problem search for cracks or holes in that area and repair it with glue. * +

Thanks for the replys guys, it sorted it's self out, I think it was were I did not drive it for nearly a month when we had all that snow, must have been condensation somewhere * +

The car is toyota publica 993 cc.1986 model doesnt have an efi system. *
