Whats wrong? Why dont we see cars wiv big blower sticking out of hood anymore ? Ah mean there r few old classics but now all cars prefer turbo approach..only diesel junkies use superchargers.why?? * +

Dodge charger hemi had big blower ..u knw the 1 which was used by dom aka vin diesel in fast and furious 1. But that blower was fake .which was poor taste * +

N tis pretty easy 2 spot fake blowers that sum ppl use for the sake of show.. Reving motor (purring sound) and blower intake movement should be in sync..which is not the case in movie . * +

its probably in violation of a law in regards to having such a large obstruction protruding from the bonnet on most road cars,save for specialist machines like hot rods and the like.it would create a visual imparement to the driver.thats my guess anyway * +

you are right in most places that stuff illegal you see it mostly at car shows, but also beleive its decreased in popularity ppl now prefer clean lines instead of blower sticking out * +

Well another reason is turbo's are far better for making power as they dont draw power from the motor. The only drawback with turbos is turbo lag and with todays technology lag is a thing of the past with new cars. *
