Evening all... Last year I sold my old car andeverything went smoothly, until now. the person I sold it to never transfered it into his name and the dates on the transfer of ownership are now past their time. Do I need to re-fill documents for ownership or how does it work? He also hasn't registered the car since, and he bought it before it expired last year * +

Do u have a copy of the signd documents when u sold the car? According to govt. Its the owners resposibility to inform them when the car is sold. * +

I do - Shouldn't they recieve informing when the buyer goes to change ownership? * +

Can the person who bought my old car re-submit the same forms that we signed at the time of sale or do they have to be in accordance with the date on the forms? * +

Im not sure on the expirey date on the form. But govt doesnt knw when a car is sold unless u or the new owner inform them. The new owner wud hav trouble renewing his licence which wud make the car illegal on the road and he wud get his disc pulled and fined. * +
