Hi there a strange question this. If you have or do know the answer please either leave your reply here or inbox me. Does anybody own a petrol car that in a 200 mile journey it would cost u roughly 47 pounds in petrol. That is driving localy. Not dual carriage ways or motorway. I would like 2 know what size engine it is and what type of car. Thank you if you can help * +

are you sure di? 200 miles for 47 quid, works out at 27 mpg. I get better than that from my 2l mondeo round town. * +

If petrol at 1.40 per litre you'd get just under 7.5 gallons and to do 200 miles the car would have to do 26.8 miles per gallon i've had 2 litre cavaliers and now a 1.8 vectra that do better than that. * +
