Am i right that truvelo speed cameras only have a range of 30/40ft depending on the line markings? managed to be over the limit over 500m away when i sped away front traffic lights, joys of accelerating down a hill! lol * +

Its a fixed spot speed camera, the orange one with circle lenses, the other is the Gatso same color but looks more like a letter box. Both have different way of detecting speed and distants they can capture, just not sure how far? * +

truvelo cameras catch you driving towards them. Gatso catch you drivhng away. * +

also with truvelo they only catch you when your wheels are on the white lines. So if you slow down before then you are ok. * +
