My motor has just been completely overhauled but its bakfiring and dont wana rev up and timing is right i removed nr4 sparkpkug its brand new but no sign of burnt petrol could it be a valve problem * +

Id thawt it cud b to tite valve clearance settings bt then u said its a cvh motor! So they got hydraulic lifters. Mayb during d overhaulin period d distributor cap got handled to ruf nd mayb cracked? Also check d plugwires wit a avo meter for too high resistence. Also check d rotor fit on d camlobes haft.. Maybe it sits half loose nd ur timing around. Mite also b a bad earthstrap insid distrbu * +
