Hey u guys, I bought a Volvo S40 T4 with 143 000km on the clock yesterday and I must say Im very happy with it but geez she gave me a scare today, I took off that huge nylon cover and suprise suprise, the tappet cover was flooded with lotsa oil, one guy (Volvo fanatic) told me that it can be an exhuast valve leaking and allow pressure to the top part of the engine, luckily it was the problem. * +

So I let the car ran for a couple of minutes to see where the hell the oil is coming from and there it was, the oil cap seal!! I took it out, cleaned it turned it the other way around back in and problem solved. I really got a big big scare. LOL. Any Volvo fan here that wana chat? * +

Lol uhm nt gna chat, bt my Mum has a Volvo S60 2.4T ,bought it in 2002 bk when they were very rare here, shes had it for 6years its nw at 178000km and still not a single serious problem, the interior stil luks great, and it stil performs wel, realy strong cars Volvos, my grandad has a C70 T5 (i thnk it is) ,got it in 2000, had it 8years and its nw at around 110000k, he doesnt drive a lot, its been * +

a great car as wel, we've driven it btwn JHB and Eastern Cape in 3 consecutive years, twice in each, put it in Sport, footdown in Bloem, that car moves quickly, also nt had a major prob except for low battery since like i said its nt driven that often. Spends most days in the garage. Once in a while he takes it out. * +

Modern Volvos r quite boring but reliable. They ok 4 older ppl except mayb th 850R n the newer AWD R but i want a 123GT which is extremely rare. I been lookin 4 one 4 10yrs now. Its the only Volvo i wud buy. * +

I was thinkin bout the S60-R evolve wen i said th AWD. Its got a nice body kit n graphics but stil its a 4door. Th coupe is also nice lookin but they wil never b BMW. The 123GT is a classic n it doesnt need tons of cosmetics 2 make it look good like th new R. * +
