So i wanted to keep my prelude N/A but now i want to put a little pump on it. I know the compression is quite high on the f22b motor at 9.3/1 I had some people say its fine to turbo on 0.5bar boost without changing the internals. Any suggestions or tips that i need to know? * +

i was under the imperssion n/a engines couldnt have a turbo but a supecharger woud work i may be wrong though * +

No difference in application,but superchargers run cool so they dont give you problems there. Using an Eaton M65 from a Merc kompressor would be nice,but the compression is a bit high. Use a 1mm stainless sheet between two head gaskets and you'll have a low enough ratio to run that on its standard pulley. Might be difficult finding a cambelt? Doubt the tensioner will cater. Should only need one more tooth though. * +

It is possible 2 run a small turbo like a t2... The polo gti came out with comp of 9:5:1 which is high but works 4 the 20v engine... Jus going 2 have to keep boost at less than 0.8 bar... * +

Stuff all engine work for now, i was driving down the road when my car started to make a weird noise, almost like a tracktor, it went away so i drove on and took a right, as i put it into 2nd the sound came back as i let the clutch go, now when pulling off in 1st my engine/clutch shudders. Any help? * +

Wow i got 2 great xmas gifts, 1: no spark on cylinder 1. 2: loose engine mount under my throttle body. d*mn, oneday ill turbo this motor. Thanx for the turbo tips btw. Cheers. *
