mini . worse cars in ncap tests are always 4x4 . i know it dont make sence but its true . mini hits land cruiser... mini air bags fire crumpel zones colapse and your fine .... the cruisers air bags wont fire as impact of mini is to low on the front cruiser does 1 of two things , it dips its front end and full on flips foward or jump up mini and starts to barel roll down the road. in fact if both * +

cars dodged the acident last minute the mini swervs right then left momentum spins car and mini driver ends up facing wrong way in middle of the road .... a good possition to watch the cruiser that did the opposite swerver right then almost left but went on two wheels and barrel rolled off to its death . * +

Ya but being tough doesn't mean its safe, u need the crumple zone to take some of the impact otherwise it is transfered on to the persons body and the vital organs can only take so much g-force. Theres not a single old car i.e. 10 years and over that can match just about ne new vehicle * +

Ncap test arnt jst bout personal safty. Pedestrian safty counts 20perc of d total safty test. 4x4's pedestrian safty obviously s*cks due to d height of d nose.. Pedestrians chance of survivin impact wit a suv or a bakkie is nil, coz d vehicle is jst gona run him over. Modern sedans hav a very impact absorbent bumper nd bonnet to make pedestrian impact as 'soft' as posible. * +
