I've got a bold 9700, but one day d battery died and refused to charge! no mattery how long the charger is plugged in for it won't move from empty! the flashing bolt is active but no charge. as soon as I remove the charger or usb cable the fone tells me its drained and will shut dwn. I place a fully charged battery from another bold and it shows up dead in the phone too, and won't charge either. * +

its software related I think, I would certainly NUKE it using BBSAK or similar program, then I would do a fresh install of os 5.0. also I would check voltage on the original battery, and check for signs of liquid contamination. * +
