Do you think people are too specific in their idea of what their partner should look like or how their personality should be? If unconditional love is true, shouldn't two people be able to see past these superficial ideas and make a relationship work? * +

I'd say that personality is the biggest reason as to why people fall in love with each other in the first place. So how the can you be 'too specific' in wanting to be with someone that matches up well with oneself? Fix up! * +

Why would you get with someone you had no attraction to, be it physical or personaility wise? I dont get that. No, it shouldnt be based on appearances but you said personality too. dontknow

I remember years ago i was with a mate and saw what i thought was an attractive girl, i pointed her out to my mate and said she was hot etc my mate said 'but what about her ears' :l it never even occured to me to look at her ears, neither did they change my opinion of her. But it just shows, others have different things they look for. A common thing would be weight, i think many would rule out a larger person * +

personality wins hands down for me,can't be bothered with that shallow bull of oh but he has bad hair,she's too fat etc,wtf some ppl need to realise that their perfect person simply aint out there. * +

But that person that someone rules out as 'not their perfect person' is perfect for someone.. There is someone perfect out there for everyone. They may not be perfect to everyone else, but they are perfect to someone. * +
