Now i've searche And searched. My k800i won't work with my pc. Plugged the usb into my phone And pc, And the error i get is windows cannot recognise the usb device due to it malfunctioning. Now my phone is fine, so is the cable And my comp. Now 2 mates with the same phone have had this same problem And given up. Anyone shed some light? Am all lost And confused. * +

Im on the new vista n hav no problem wot so eva didnt need to run the disc that came wiv the pone * +

Yep. Installed it all like it tells you too And still says the device you have attached has malfunctioned And windows cannot recognise it. It's bringing up the same error on my mates k800i And her sisters. * +

well , now uninstall the software and drivers from pc (related to your phone only) reboot and install a fresh copy... repeat this untill you succeed lol * +

Already done that 5 times. To no avail. Now i'm technical minded And it's confusing. The pc doesn't even bring up the found new hardware wizard. Still continues to say it can't recognise the hardware And to re connect it. How do i install the drivers on their own? * +

well forget the cd and download the drivers from net and install them manually from control panel * +
