the advantage is that you'll have a Generic firmware, unbranded and in some case extra feature's like the my friends service, some networks disable flash menu's, other's need signed mp3 tracks so on and so on... * +

A cust pack in short is a bunch of files that finalize/setup the phone after a flash, if you dont upload one the phone gives you a configuration error and you need to reflash the FS and finalize correctly by uploading the cust pack. * +

@gag, i think you need zapf acoustics mate, use XS to uploads them to ifs/settings/acoustic @lean, there theme's that change the menu. * +
