How does i get this off my phone to edit it? I've found it with xs++ but i can't right click copy etc. Do i have to use a dif prog? * +

You don't want to remove it, you probably want to install Halmer Certificate in your phone, and XS++ doesn't allow you to extract files from the file system, u need FAR Manager+SEFP * +

depends which phone you have.... if its a DB2020 use QAaccess and jdflasher, or most customize.xml tweaks are best done using customize_upgrade.xml's, you can also use one of those to extract files, but i not even going to try explain how to do that as alot of experienced modders still cannot get the hang of it and ill be here months try to teach a newbie (no offense) * +

Its k750/w800 n i can't check at min but i'm pretty sure it 2010. I've sorted it now thou. I wanted to edit it so i cud silence camera sounds but i've just deleted them completely. * +

yup there both DB2010, and there is two different types shall we say of DB2010, there is Cid36, you can use the old SEFP to extract files from the phone, but with cid49 its different, you gotta use den_po's SEFP cid49 mod and flash in breakin loaders and rest files and stuff (not sure if jdflasher can read from db2010, cannot read from cid36 w800 db2010 i know that) * +

My phone is cid49. If i use the den po thing what are the chances of brickin my phone permanently? I'd like to try it but only wud if i know i can just reflash my phone if anythin goes wrong. Cheers * +

Use XS++ to make a GDSF backup, then even the most worst cases can be fixed by restoring it and doing full flash, including WSOD. * +
