I had a w910 that would crash and switch of every 2 seconds then come on with the message invalid sim, now my new w890 is doing the same any1 know why? * +

Nope it only shows the message briefly then switches off and resets, Sims still ok * +

Ur sim has been blocked by your operator and your phone need a clean flash. * +

Its nothing to do with the sim. My w890 does it too. I'm on my 4th one now. It gradually does it more and more often. I now update its software from sony web site every few months. It helps a bit but it still comes back. * +

Orange told me that there is no reported problem with w890's turning off and rebooting. So they were obviously telling me fibs lol. * +
