ive got a se w995 n every time i try 2 charge my phone a get mesage up on screeen that says cant charge u must use real se battey? it is se battery in it and also i cant get signal either with it ive tryed a couple sim in it and they wrk in my old phone.is it a software issue thanks in advance4 any help x * +

Take it back! Thats BOTH hardware and software faults, they should replace it with a new one. * +

Thanks mate could it be orange have blocked it coz a aint payed bill coz direct debit has just been set up am stuck in wrk n cant do owt bout it * +

Na its a handset/firmware issue. I had that same problem with my C905 n it was fixed with a simple firmware update. * +
