Use the stand.that 1of its functions.heat goes up.so if the phone laying on it back.werz da heat supposd2go 2.n don put it inda fridge.da moisture wil kill it * +

The heating up is perfectly normal. The reason why it heats up is due to it using 3G and 3.5G (HSDPA) which is faster but requires A LOT more power from the battery also mixed with the fact that the battery is being charged via that USB, your phone wil be just fine, dont worry. It will cut off if it over heats, but the chances of that happening are realy slim. * +
