Ok first off you need to download 2 trusted certificates by using your phones wap browser (not mini opera) http://orka.mine.nu/pub/gmail/ once youv done this you will need to log into Gmail with your PC and allow pop3 access them enter these settings into your phone * +

Account name: Gmail, connect using: your network operator, email address: your email, connection: pop3, incoming server: pop.googlemail.com, user name: your email address, password: your gmail password, outgoing server: smtp.googlemail.com * +

Now goto advanced settings encryption outgoing and incoming: ssl, outgoing user name: your email address, password: your gmail password, incoming port: 995, outgoing port: 465 and if youv entered all these setting as iv told you and downloaded both certificates plus logged into Gmail on a PC and enabled pop3 access you should now be able to send and recive gmail on any network via your SE phone:) * +

wow this's great. And pls i got two mail yahoo and gmail. Would it work only for gmail,if no then can i get yahoo settings...? * +

Youll need to buy yahoo mail plus its 20 i think coz they dont support pop3 email :( but if you get that then goto the sonyericsson website and theyll send out the settings, Hotmail dont support pop3 email, but for people who cannot get GMAIL they can start up a bluebottle email up for free www.bluebottle.com and they support pop3 ill sort the settings out for it soon :) * +

Why bother just get the gmail app from gmail.com/app pop3 settings work but you cant view long emails or forwarded mail they just dont show * +
