why is it dat my w810i only shows G and not E? u knw on top of the signal bars..it jst shows G nt E..does it mean dat the EDGE connectn has bn eleminatd frm my phne? its frm orange btw..bt nt lockd 2orange..its pay as go frm carphonewarehouz..with orange sim..bt im using t-mobile atm..tnx 4d help x x

No, all it means is that the area your in doesnt have any EDGE (E) support only GPRS (G) * +

The network probably doesnt support EDGE then, they wouldnt remove EDGE from your phone. or all the places you go to dont hav EDGE support * +

The orange network does support EDGE, otherwise it'd be pretty pointless. What you need to do is go into your browser settings and turn on the gprs/gsm option. EDGE only works in certain areas though. * +
