Hello, does any1 know where i enter the message centre number on this phone.. I've had it unlocked.. It manages to send messages in mms format only after i sent the settings from orange but i could only find the mms ones to send not the sms.. Any info will be greatly appreciated * +

Go to Messaging. Scroll down and click settings. Then click on text messages. The service center number is the first option * +

When i go to messages then settings the only options i have are message alert.. Picture message and push message.. It is seriously doing my head in lol * +

Lol that's odd... But mine isn't exactly a w850i. Its a w830i. BUT i think they are the exact same in this aspect. Mine just doesn't have 3g. BUT maybe i'm wrong Lol sorry. * +

There should be six options under the settings menu,'Message alert', 'Text message', 'Picture message', 'Area info', 'Push', and 'Voicemail number'....Phone your Service provider, get them to send you the settings, etc. * +

As daft as it sounds ask for a sim update to send sms's i had to do that. Had the same problem * +

Lol @ Batry 'assuming' that none of us have a w850i !! There are no 'Message' settings under 'Connectivity' !! Unless, you are refering to the 'Mobile networks', and/or 'Data communication' options?! * +
