As owners of p990's will already know, extended browsing on a p990 is impossible because it crashes and shuts down. However heres a tip that gets rid of this by using OperaMini. First, set all your timeouts to 'never'. Then set your midlet permissions where possible to 'ask once'. When prompted, select 'this time only' instead of 'this session only'... * +

Finally, to be dead flash, close the flip and select 'options', and replace an existing option with operamini. (I also put quadrapop in there). You can then use operamini in flip closed mode and take advantage of T9 input and all the shortcuts, while never having to worry about the phone crashing as when using the default full opera browser. Yes this phone is gr8 at looks and seems very elegant and prof. I always heard it has prob but this one too much but still a s*xy looking phone * +

Tell you what, I'm in here now using the above info and it combines all the sophistication of SE with the simplicity of being able to use T9 instead of using a touchscreen. This could get addictive! *
