Sadly, this film doesn't know what it wants to be, enjoyed the beginning but it looks as though the creators s**t themselves halfway through. This was a film that cannot be crammed into ninety minutes. It had under 15 minutes to set up the four main characters before getting into the action. the middle of the film dilly dallies between feeling sorry for themselves and arguing over staying or leaving, then they carelessly introduce the military to install a bit of hope and by the last few scenes you have a token two on one human vs alien/machine battle and by the end you have the most out of place scene in the entire movie * +

although out of place, its pretty cool and would make an excellent set piece for a game. the humans are caught and thrown into a cascade of other humans waiting for the process, by now even a child could of worked out why humans were important but sadly its a bit of a paradox, killing humans to harvest their brains just to kill more humans? the equivalent would be a farmer who keeps livestock just so he has something decent in for tea. however, I wander from the point slightly, * +

the ending offers a rather tantalizing looking glimpse into the alien ship with a p*ssed off expectant father doing battle with other alien hybrids to protect the mother of his unborn child, roll credits and cue several stills of him carrying his girlfriend away leaving the viewer wondering and upset that they'd just wasted money on a film which clearly would of made a better mini series on SyFy. I rate this film, 6/10 for special effects only * +

highlights.....look out for Turk from scrubs as he tries his hand at serious acting. The arrival of the military and nuke scene was pretty good and lastly the ending, avid gamers will see past the confusing plot and imagine that it was just a scene from a computer game * +

why offer a review that destroys the value of seeing the movie for others. i know its not new but come on man, i'm sure you'd be annoyed if someone outlined the plot of a movie you wanted to see down to the last frame. atleast put **spoiler alert** or similar at the start. * +
