So psyched for this movie.many may not of heard of fletch but if you know Chevy Chase then you'll probably of heard of fletch or fletch lives. Chase's second biggest movie franchise next to national lampoons vaction.
However, chase will not be playing Fletch in the prequel reboot. This role will be played by Jason Sudeikis from we're the millers... I can't commentate on him as I've never heard of the guy but apparently he's getting the green light from fans everywhere * +

(don't ever call me Irwin) R Fletcher is an investigative reporter working under the name Jane Doe, exposing drug trafficking, murder and the like... He dons a variety of disguises in the old films and has a 'don't care attitude mixed with clumsy attributes at times'.
Fans of Chevy Chase will understand. The films are still brilliant to this day and have longed for a third film but it never came
Now the reboot is confirmed with a more younger fletch on his first outings.
Originally, Ryan Reynolds was up for the part who I thought would personally make a good fletch
Anyway, only time will tell
Fletch wasn't a big budget film...it's essentially a comedy crime drama. Any film with chase in was always a win. * +

Another notable thing about fletch films was the composer.. Harold faltermyer who gave us Beverley hills cop theme... Listen to the fletch theme... It's still decent * +
