I know its been discussed but people DOUBTED IT.............. With Sony making games that register to consoles with the next PlayStation ............... reports are Xbox are doing the same with the next box. games will come with a activation code for the game. not a online code for online play.............. a code to get the game to actually run. what you think of that? Sony and Microsoft ending the 2nd game market for next gen? Now i usually buy new games but buy 2nd hand if i see a game iv wan * +

It wouldn't surprise me if this happened. It's the next ten years Sony and MS need to think about, who cares if console users put up a fuss for a year, they accept and buy anything anyway, as proven by all the DLC that has been accepted as a normal thing now. Development costs will go up with bigger games and better graphics, and publishers will want more money. * +

High street shops are dying and they wont have much influence on the decision, like they used to. PC second hand sales have stopped because of DRM and it has worked fine. * +

They could put the technology in their systems and leave it up to the publishers to decide if it is used or not. Then start off with just the odd top AAA title using it and gradually make every game tied to an account. * +
