Darksiders developer Vigil Games wasnt sold at last months auction of THQs assets. That was the end of Vigil, but not its staff: rather than buying Vigil whole, Crytek left it on the auction block and later hired many of its laid-off employees to form Crytek USA in Austin. Cryteks new ex-Vigil staffed studio, however, wont be making Darksiders III * +

at the THQ auction, no bids were recieved for vigil games nor the darksiders franchise......although bayonetta devs platinum games are willing to buy the franchise if its offered on the cheap....its sad really, darksiders series is very good and the story needs to be told. * +

I really enjoyed Darksiders...was a nice Zelda alternative with an intersting story. They should started II where the first left off, and just added to the Zelda-like gameplay rather than try turning it inro an action RPG *
