Games such as Battlefield 3 and FIFA 13 have traditionally shipped with a code that must be entered in order to access the game's multiplayer component. Codes can only be used once, however, which means that users must pay for a new code if they purchase the game from a second-hand store, or attempt to play multiplayer on a different console. * +
