The Xbox One name is awful...I totally agree. Having seen the Xbox One's initial capabilities it looked like a home theater system than a gaming console. It actually brings the nightmare over TV remote wars. * +

Its not a secret that Microsoft sales of both PC and mobile computing OSs have sunken in the past 5 or so years. So what they're trying to do with the Xbox One is to maximize profits by encouraging the non-gaming community to buy the console as a daily entertainment device. Its a nice touch but who wants to have smart cable on a console? The level of disturbance is just too high. For the married folks, the wife wants to watch her favorite shows so its a non starter. * +

So you better get the X1 to run in the gaming room. The other problem is that the X1 is not backwards compatible with the X360 plus it does not support used games. So you cannot borrow your mate's games and vice versa . Hows that for a desperate financial revival? Each game will also require to CONNECT to the net for authentication and make a handshake between the systems ID and the game: Individual games will be tied Xbox Live accounts. What if your network just got disconnected? * +

So get ready to rent your mate's game for a fee! EA STOPPED supporting online passes so thats a huge blow! The TV presentation was all about the TV experience....c'mon if you wanna watch TV turn off the game and turn on the smart TV! The rule is that you don't put the game and the TV together. Lets wait for E3 and see what exclusives they have install. Microsoft done screwed it up! PC gaming will always beat the experience of gaming than consoles. * +
