Well to be on the serious side, accordinh to twitter, many people who are having these problems are those on psn. Xbox online patch arrived today and that cause a surge in numbers of people being online and the servers to crash, again. * +

Last night was great... the cloud servers went t*ts up and it chucked us online with temp characters. Was a fking tease.. played few races, survival mode etc.....and now I can't even get passed the race screen * +
