Well I guess he is right about closing the gap, as it is an improvement. Thing is though, these are brand new consoles and the graphics still aren't as good as a mid range PC. Things are going to get very bad for consoles over this cycle. In just a few years the gap will be huge, much bigger than it has ever been before. * +

They could build a very powerful console that would match a high end pc but it would be too expensive and not many ppl would buy it, consoles are aimed at ppl between 14 - 25 yr old or something like that and parents won't buy their kids a machine that would cost over a grand * +

They should have made the CPU and GPU upgradable on both consoles. I can't see many gamers not buying a gaming PC (Steam Machine) by the end of this gen. * +

you dont need too much money for a decent gaming pc. if you are stupid enough to buy one like alienware etc then its your fault. they would of easily slice in a normal cpu with 3ghz clockspeed and a dedicated gpu. you can get a working pc with an i5 quad with 4gb of ram and integrated gpu here for 360 euros plus slide in 200 euro gpu and its going to be a beast for 60 euros more than the xbone (lol) its what a game costs here for a console (lol) * +
