Like most of all high end eBay auctions of this type, I am sure the winning bidder will not have the means to pay for it. (Facepalm) * +

It sold for (money2)99,908. There were only 120 copies of Nintendo World Championships ever made, which were produced for a Nintendo run video game competition in America and never went on general sale. The game consisted of a timed challenge were the player had 6min 20 seconds to collect 50 coins on the first level of Super Mario bros, set a timed lap of a specially designed course on Rad Racer and then use whatever time was left on the clock to rack up as high a score possible on Tetris.
The copy sold was in very poor condition, having most of it's label ripped off and the word Mario scribbled on it in biro. * +

Im pretty sure there were fewer gold ones that went to the winners... the one that sold on ebay was gray and had the label ripped off...cant imagine what it wouldve went for in mint condition. Also wonder too if he actually got paid * +
