They aren't Steam keys. Typically Steam keys are in this format 1ABC2-3DEF4-5GHI6 and always contain both letters and numbers.

Origin and Uplay are two other clients. They are EA and Ubisofts clients, very similar to Steam.

Tried a key in Origin and Uplay and it didn't work btw. * +

Not sure what uses digit only keys/serials. Some other software perhaps. Game keys are usually alphanumeric. * +

When i bought my gpu, i got 3 keys for batman origins, assassins creed black flag and splinter cell blacklist...batman was a steam key, others were uplay. I think witcher series is only pc games that i have with no drm. Gog is good site to get games if you dont want to fiddle around with keys and no drm, so no need for steam,uplay, or origins... its just that not much in way of new titles though *
