Well it depends on the screen size. 2 feet is for a 28'' screen. The bigger the screen the more noticeable the increase in resolution. * +

You will need at least two 780s and you will need to be less than 2 feet away from the monitor to get the full benefit.

I still play on my pc on the living room 47inch tv ,This monitor will be for my workstation but will get some gaming now and then . Still nice to have one though * +

Personally I don't think we are ready for 4K gaming at the moment. The cost of the hardware to run games at 4K is massive. Do they even do IPS 60Hz screens yet? I bet they would cost loads.

Very nice, 1080p pc gaming will do me for a while though, been on my ps3 lately just for dark souls 2... 720p (dislike) seen kel playing infamous on the ps4 int front room looks well nice! * +
