They should indefinitely postpone all versions of this game . Have you seen it . Looks deadfull to say the least . * +

Exactly. So why postpone the Xbone version? It must be either even worse, or they expect poor sales....the Wii U version is still being released FFS lol * +

Judging by the footage i have seen of the ps4 version it looks like a port from the ps3/360 ,Im thinking they have had trouble porting it over so just thought they wouldn't bother . It wont sell very well on any system . * +

Norega is right- it is just a bit of film merchandise, they don't really care what it gets released on so long as it is visible on shelves and sites in time for the film.
They will be more likely to try and get it on the Wii U and 3DS as Nintendo still has the stigma of being considered a kids company.

Spiderman games, like Batman, suffer from good reviews- each subsequent release gets lazier as the devs think 'call of duty gets away with it' * +

Probably having trouble getting more than 10 frames per second out of the One version (lol) * +

But that's my point. Even if the Xbone version is below par, that still wouldn't stop them releasing it. So it's either broken, or they feel it's not worth it. Either reason is a concern. * +

UPDATE 16.00pm: Activision has confirmed the postponement of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One to Eurogamer but said it will collaborate with Microsoft ''in an effort to release'' the title at some point.

There's still no reason for the delay - and whether the game will actually release at all still seems in doubt.

''We are working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One,'' an Activision spokesperson told us. ''Currently, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC on 2nd May, 2014 as previously announced.'' * +
